ANATEL has revised its approach to 6 GHz Wi‑Fi, confirming that WAS/RLAN devices may now operate only in the 5.925–6.425 GHz range. The upper portion of the band has been reassigned to services of collective interest following coexistence studies with IMT systems.

The update is formalised through Ato 10400, which also introduce tighter technical conditions, including revised out‑of‑band emission limits. The requirements are already in effect and become mandatory from 1 March 2027, with compliance expected at the next certificate renewal for affected products.
