USA FCC Adds Foreign-Produced Routers Produced in Foreign Countries to Covered List

On March 23, 2026, the  Federal Communications Commission (FCC) added routers produced in foreign countries to its Covered List, finding that they pose unacceptable national security and cybersecurity risks. As a result, these routers are generally ineligible for FCC equipment authorization unless they receive a Conditional Approval from DoW or DHS.
