As of January 1, 2023, Agentschap has been renamed as Rijksinspectie Digitale Infrastructuur (RDI). The agency believes the new name better reflects its evolving role in a rapidly digitalizing society.

The new name and structure better reflect the agency's increasing focus on digital availability and security.
