Agentschap Telecom rebrands as Rijksinspectie Digitale Infrastructuur (RDI)

As of January 1, 2023, Agentschap has been renamed as Rijksinspectie Digitale Infrastructuur (RDI). The agency believes the new name better reflects its evolving role in a rapidly digitalizing society.

Rijksinspectie Digitale Infrastructuur (RDI) will oversee a wider range of responsibilities, including telecommunications, cybersecurity , and trusted electronic services, in addition to its current duties. The new name and structure better reflect the agency's increasing focus on digital availability and security.

The renaming has also brought changes to the agency's website and email addresses:

The new website is www.rdi.nl and the general email address is info@rdi.nl. Personal email addresses for employees have been changed to firstname.lastname@rdi.nl and the general phone number is 088 041 60 00.
