ANATEL publish Act No. 423

On 12 January 2022, ANATEL published Act No. 423, which updates Act No. 14448 on the Technical Requirements for the Assessment of Conformity of Restricted Radiation Radiocommunication Equipment.

The main updates are as follows:

- Body Scanning Emitter-Sensor for Security Applications operating in 76-81 GHz band;
- Interactive Motion Sensors installed in vehicles operating in the 57-64 GHz band;
- Wireless Multigigabit System operating in the 57-66 GHz band for fixed applications;
- 5150–5350 MHz devices installed in vehicles and trains.
- UWB devices installed in vehicles operating on 3100-3300 MHz and 3700-10600 MHz
