Second Consultation on the Regulatory Framework for Telecommunications Equipment Approval.

The Telecommunications Regulation Commission (TRC) has launched a public consultation to develop a regulatory framework for the approval of telecommunications equipment in the British Virgin Islands.

The consultation includes 26 questions on topics such as methodology, equipment approval requirements, Commission obligations and powers, cyber security, and the roles of government departments.

This public consultation is an opportunity for stakeholders to influence regulation and ensure it meets their needs.

The deadline for submitting comments is Friday, February 24th, 2023, and comments should be submitted by email: consultations@trc.vg
