Canada ISED Amends RSS-119 Issue 12

The Department of Innovation, Science and Economic Development (ISED) in Canada has announced an amendment to Radio Standards Specification RSS-119, Issue 12. This specification covers Land Mobile and Fixed Equipment that operates within the frequency range of 27.41-960 MHz

The amendment, which took place on July 28, 2025, specifically updates Section 5.6 of RSS-119. This section has been revised to address equipment that utilizes an occupied bandwidth greater than the authorized bandwidth permitted under the relevant Standard Radio System Plan (SRSP).
