CCC - CNCA announced 2023 update of compulsory product certification catalog

The China National Certification and Accreditation Administration (CNCA) -the authority who coordinates compulsory certification and testing, including the China Compulsory Certification (CCC)- announced on 8 August 2023 the issuance of the revised "Description and Definition Table of the Compulsory Product Certification Catalogue (Revised in 2023)" according to the adjustment of the compulsory product certification catalogue and the adjustment of certification according to relevant standards -with a total of 16 categories, divided in 96 sub-categories of devices- by the State Administration for Market Regulation.

The Description and Definition Table of Compulsory Product Certification Catalogue (Revised in 2020) issued by Announcement No. 18 of 2020 of the State Administration for Market Regulation is abolished at the same time.
