The Agencia Nacional del Espectro (ANE) of Colombia has published Resolution 153 of 2024. This resolution regulates the technical and operational conditions for short-range radio communications, specifically covering Automotive radars operating within the frequency band of 57 to 64 GHz.

It is worth noting that the 57 to 64 GHz band is designated for unlicensed use, meaning no specific assignment permit is required. Manufacturers interested in utilizing Automotive radars can utilize the spectrum on a common and shared basis.

Technical parameters included in Resolution 153 of 2024:

- Frequency range: 57 - 64 GHz
- Technical and operational conditions: Maximum Peak Effective Isotropic Radiated Power (PIRE) of 100 mW and maximum power spectral density of 13 dBm/MHz.
