Korea launch public consultation into usage of 6GHz band for WIFI 6E

The Ministry of Science and ICT of South Korea have issued Announcement No. 2020-384, launching a public consultation into the 6GHz band (5925- 7125MHz) for WiFi 6E.

The announcement specifies the proposed technical requirements for use of the 6GHz band, including frequency band, bandwidth, power density and frequency tolerance.
 
Interested parties may submit comments until 24th August 2020. Details on how to contribute to the public consultation and a full copy of the announcement can be found on the MSIT website.
