EAC Energy Efficiency regulations postponed till 1 September 2028.

On 8 July 2025, the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission has postponed the entry into force of the technical regulation of the Eurasian Economic Union "On the requirements for the energy efficiency of energy-consuming devices" to 1 September 2028.  This will allow for the updating of several requirements of the document in line with amendments being prepared in accordance with the plan for developing technical regulations of the EAEU and making changes to them, and to complete the development and adoption of necessary secondary legislation for the implementation of the technical regulation – a list of standards and labels for the energy efficiency of energy-consuming devices.
