SDPPI have released KEPDIRJEN SDPPI NOMOR 197 TAHUN 2019, revising previous regulation KEPDIRJEN SDPPI NOMOR 183 TAHUN 2019.

Following an internal investigation at SDPPI into SDPPI recognised laboratories, the revised regulation has added a number of international laboratories to SDPPI's recognised laboratory list for Cellular Phone, Handheld Computer, and Tablet (HKT) certification. By way of reminder, test reports issued by SDPPI recognised international laboratories are accepted to show compliance to Indonesian technical standards.

No further changes have been made in the new regulation other than the addition of recognised labs to SDPPI’s recognised laboratory list.
