On 27 October 2025 the National Agency for Regulation in Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI) in Moldova announced the establishment of the Competition Commission for the issuance of licenses for the use of radio frequencies in the frequency bands 700 MHz, 1500 MHz, 2300 MHz, 2600 MHz, 3600 MHz and 26 GHz for the purpose of providing public mobile/fixed electronic communications networks.
