New Labelling Requirements
Effective 01 October 2026, products falling under ten specific technical regulations must display the supplier's name (importer or local manufacturer) and their commercial registration number directly on the product. Affected categories include, but are not limited to, electrical self-balancing boards, solar photovoltaic systems, and electrical lifts. SASO has confirmed that random sampling and file reviews via the SABER platform will be utilized to enforce these new labelling mandates.
