The multi-agency committee includes ARTP, the Customs Administration, the Industrial Property and Technological Innovation Agency (ASPIT), and the Senegalese Standards Association (ASN). 
Its core mandate is to curb the distribution of non-compliant radiofrequency devices and enforce regulatory and technical standards. The initiative strengthens market surveillance to protect network integrity, ensure user safety, and maintain service quality while fostering a secure, competitive, and innovation-friendly telecom market.

CONATEL has opened a public consultation on proposed amendments to Honduras' National Frequency Allocation Plan (PNAF). The draft introduces private IMT networks, expands the 6 GHz band for Wi-Fi 6E/7, enables additional Mobile Satellite Service allocations, and modernizes NGSO satellite regulations. The proposal does not change the country's type approval procedures or certification requirements.
