NTRA Updates SRD Regulation to Include WLAN 6GHz Band

The National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (NTRA) has released an updated version of its Short-Range Devices (SRD) Regulation (Version 1.3), now incorporating the WLAN 6GHz band (5925–6425 MHz).

This update permits the use of the 5925–6425 MHz frequency band for WLAN products, with the following conditions:

  • Power Limit: Up to 250mW EIRP.
  • Usage Restriction: Indoor use only.
This regulatory change reflects NTRA's commitment to enabling advanced wireless technologies while ensuring optimal spectrum management.
