Eleos Proud to Join the Profit for Good Alliance
We're delighted to share that Eleos Compliance has been accepted as a member of Profit for Good - a growing alliance of business leaders who believe that a company's success should count for more than its bottom line and are committing a minimum of 10% of their profits to charity.
We're delighted to share that Eleos Compliance has been accepted as a member of Profit for Good - a growing alliance of business leaders who believe that a company's success should count for more than its bottom line and are committing a minimum of 10% of their profits to charity.

What is Profit for Good?
Profit for Good was founded in 2025 by philosopher Peter Singer and Julia van Boven, as a spin-off of the School for Moral Ambition.

The premise behind the alliance is simple but powerful: global corporate profits run into the trillions each year. Even a modest share of that, donated to highly effective charities working on the worlds most pressing challenges, could make a massive difference. Profit for Good exists to make corporate giving normal, visible, and something businesses actively compete on, rather than just a footnote to their annual report.

Members join a network of founders, CEOs and impact directors who are working out, in real time, what it looks like to build giving into the core of their business sharing what works, challenging each other to go further, and helping shape the standards the alliance is still developing.

Why we think more businesses should do this
Charitable giving is too often treated as something a business only thinks about once it's "made it", is given at at too small of a percentage to make a meaningful difference, or worse still is just marketing dressed up as purpose. We think businesses can do better.

Directing a meaningful share of profit to effective causes isn't just good for the causes themselves, it changes the nature and ethos on which a business is built, sharpening the question of what growth is actually for and giving employees, partners and customers a genuine reason to want to be part of what you're doing.

The businesses inside the Profit for Good alliance, from a toilet paper company that has quietly become a major force in global sanitation, to a cosmetics group giving away tens of millions of euros over the next decade are proof that this isn't a trade-off against commercial success. It can be part of what drives it.

For Eleos, this isn't a new commitment. Giving 10% of our profit to charity has been our practice since inception and is even enshrined in our articles of association Joining Profit for Good felt like a natural next step: a chance to stand alongside other businesses who've made the same choice, learn from how they've built it into their operations, and add our voice to the case that this should be normal, not exceptional. We hope more businesses, of every size, will start asking the same question we did years ago: not just how much profit we can make, but how can we use some of that profit to help make things better.
