Canada ISED to Require Family Applications for Multi-Version Products

The Department of Innovation, Science and Economic Development (ISED) in Canada issued a notice on June 17, 2025, stating that it will no longer accept applications listing multiple Product Marketing Names (PMNs) in a single field.

Moving forward, such submissions must be filed as family applications.

Any applications submitted on or after June 30, 2025, that include multiple PMNs in a single field will be returned for correction. 

Applicants are advised to organize product versions accordingly to ensure timely certification.
