The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) has opened an investigation into a company suspected of selling uncertified communication devices online, following a joint enforcement operation with the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) under Op Taring Bravo 3.

A total of 3,837 units of various communication devices, estimated to be worth RM500,000, were seized by PDRM and handed over to MCMC for further technical analysis and assessment.

The confiscated items include wireless gaming consoles, wireless remote controllers, smart devices, tablets, and other communication equipment believed to have been marketed without valid technical certification from MCMC.
