Mexican regulator IFETEL has delayed implementation of new Safety Standard - NOM-001-SCFI-2018
The new NOM, which replaces NOM-001-SCFI-1993 and specifies new electrical safety testing procedures will now come into effect in August 2021.
Certificates can be applied for under the old scheme and will have a one year validity period as before.
