USA FCC Waives Restrictions on Certain Updates to Covered Robotic Devices and Power Inverters

The FCC issued a public notice on July 28, 2026, allowing certain Class I and Class II software and firmware changes for covered foreign-produced advanced robotic devices and power inverters already authorized in the United States. The waiver applies through at least January 1, 2029.
