Conatel Holds Public Hearing on Free Use Equipment Qualification Reform in Venezuela

The National Telecommunications Commission (Conatel), the regulatory body responsible for overseeing the telecommunications sector in Venezuela, will hold a public hearing on March 15th, 2023 at its facilities to hear comments and suggestions from interested parties related to the Reform of the Administrative Provision containing the conditions for the qualification of Free Use Equipment. 

The objective of this reform is to establish the necessary conditions for equipment to be qualified as free use in order to comply with the provisions of the Organic Telecommunications Law. The hearing will take place at 9:00 in the morning and the most relevant aspects of the provision will be reviewed.
