Saudi Arabia CITC publishes new WLAN Regulation

Saudi Arabia’s Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC), has issued a public consultation on “Radio Spectrum Allocation and Use Regulation for WLAN Applications

On 20th November 2020, the Saudi Arabian Standards, Metrology and Quality Organisation (SASO) notified the WTO of a Draft Technical Regulation for Saudi Arabia RoHS requirements, with the aim to restrict the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment. The regulation also defines the conformity assessment procedure for RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) in Saudi Arabia.
