ANATEL announce Public Consultation No. 54

Brazilian Regulator Agência Nacional De Telecomunicações (ANATEL) have announced public consultation No. 54 with the aim of updating Annex I of Act No. 14.448, of December 4, 2017 to include the Technical Requirements for Conformity Assessment of Restricted Radiocommunication Equipment. 

A range of technologies are covered in the public consultation, including radar system applications in the 76-81 GHz range, Wireless Broadband Access System for Local Area Networks operating in the 5150–5350 MHz and 5.850-5.895 MHz bands, Vehicle Communication System in the 5850-5925 MHz and Wireless Multigigabit systems operating in the 57-71 GHz range.

The public consultation is open for 2 months from launch, meaning that the public consultation will officially close on 24th August. 2020. A link can be found here for all companies looking to contribute.
