According to the announcement of the State Administration for Market Regulation on the implementation of compulsory product certification management for commercial gas combustion appliances and other products (No. 9, 2024) to determine the compulsory product certification catalogue and implementation mode adjustment plan, the CNCA has revised the relevant compulsory product certification implementation rules.
On 25 January 2024, the CNCA of China issued an announcement on the adjustment of the applicable standards for the test methods of the Conformity Assessment System for the Restricted Use of Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Products and decided to change the test method standards of the China RoHS Conformity Assessment System from GB/T 26125 to GB/T 39560 series standards.
The China Quality Certification Center has announced the implementation of a new version of the certificate format and electronic certificate (e-Cert) document format for compulsory product certification (CCC). The new formats will be issued from 1 January 2024 and can be accessed through the provided links. Existing certificates will not be replaced unless renewal or change procedures are carried out upon their expiry date.
The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) has revised the "Radio Transmitting Equipment Type Approval Certificate Form" and the "Radio Transmitting Equipment Type Approval Code Coding Rules" to improve the Radio Transmission Equipment Type Approval Certificate style and the CMIIT ID Codification Rules. These revised regulations will take effect on 12 December 2023, and will replace previous regulations on the management and format of radio transmitting equipment type approval.
Proposed abolition of the Notice of the use of Point-to-Point Radio Access Systems in Fixed Services in the 40-50 Gigahertz (GHz) Band (MIIT No [2013] No. 500)
The deadline for applying for SRRC using the old standards MIIT [2002], 353, MIIT [2002] 277, and MIIT [2012] 620 for 2.4GHz, 5.1GHz, and 5.8GHz is October 15, 2023. From October 15, 2023, new and renewal applications for devices with 2.4/5.1/5.8GHz frequency bands must meet the new standard MIIT [2021] 129.
